Christmas with the Burtons
My father had to work on Christmas day for the first time, knowing that we had to go to Sacramento this year to see the rest of my family, we didnt end up going to Sacramento until 6 that evening. Once we arrived to my Aunts house in Sacramento everyone's facial expressions weren't too inviting. Come to find out, everyone was waiting for us to arrive so they could eat. Having not eaten a big festive meal in months, I anticipated the moment I got to sit at the big table and fill my plate with as much as food possible. Once I did that, I ate more than half of my plate until I realized I was not Capable of eating anymore. The moment I knew I was done I filled my plate once again, and packed it to go. As I looked around the room everyone had the same plan which caused chaos in the kitchen.

I can totally relate to that feeling. My family is always the late family to the big festive dinners we have during the holidays, and everyone always gets upset. My mom always says she doesn't understand why they insist on waiting when they know we're going to be late every year anyway. LOL.
