Money Hungry

The companies are definitely exacerbating the low wage earners many by giving them false hope... Thinking that making 15,000 a year is cool, but then making 40,000 dollar payments on a car that you can barely afford to put gas in is ridiculous. As the article we read said, the companies know how to reel you in, and target low income earners because they know that they usually don't keep up with there payments which is where companies profit. In my eyes payments are just a easy debt access. I know you usually will need to make payments on things sometimes but it's also common sense on what you can afford.
These companies are the reason some families can barely afford to feed themselves and their families, which broadens the opportunity divide massively. With that said, these companies also target low income neighbourhoods. The families in these neighbourhoods are usually trying to get out of the area, but the money hungry companies are the reason a lot of the residents are still there.
The government and the companies can end this problem easily and in multiple ways, but will they? NO! The rich feed off the poor and the poor get poorer. So the only way I seeing this problem being alleviated is either these families some how get financial guidance (which usually cost) or begin noticing they are putting themselves in these binds. If the government were to step in and assist the needy more, they need to provide more financial mentors to the poverty coated neighbourhoods. Thats the cheapest solution.
